Member Raffle Information

2018-2019 Raffle Items:

Raffle Tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50. Tickets can be purchased from any MHSRA member, by calling a State Director, or the State Office. See the Meet the Directors page for contact information.

Each member must sell at least 30 raffle tickets and mail them to Billie Harms by the April 30, 2019, deadline in order to enter the State Finals rodeo. See Billie's address below. Members may continue to sell tickets up until the day of the drawing, but members must turn in their first 30 sold tickets by the April 30th deadline. Please refer to the raffle ticket information letter included in your membership packet.

Do not hold onto your sold tickets and checks. After you have sold some tickets, send them immediately to Billie Harms. She will accept tickets any time during the rodeo year. Billie will keep a running total of the tickets each member has sold. Other important deadlines and opportunities for this 2018-2019 trailer raffle fundraiser include:

  • Clinic Scholarships: Any member that sells 40 tickets and has their money and ticket stubs mailed in to Billie Harms by April 30, 2019, will be eligible to receive $100 towards a rodeo school/clinic. The school must be MHSRA sanctioned. This is a great opportunity, please take advantage of it. If you are interested in a rodeo school or clinic please have the clinic host contact the MHSRA State Office to receive approval paperwork. Only those schools or clinics that have filled out the required form and submitted the form to the MHSRA State Office will be MHSRA approved and sanctioned. This paperwork must be completed and approved prior to the school or clinic being held.
  • Seniors: All senior members in good standing who submit a scholarship application and participates in the interview process during the State Finals 2019 will be awarded a $300 scholastic scholarship.

DO NOT SEND CASH! Cash will be returned to the member and another form of payment will be requested. Cash will delay the processing of your raffle ticket sales.

Send in a manila envelope to avoid envelope being damaged in the mail.

Make sure that the Post Office poskmarks the envelope and make sure there is enough postage on it.
